Where is Eminence?
Eminence sits in Shannon County, Missouri and has an fantastic assortment of natural wonders and outdoor activities. Take a tour of the 100 year old Alley Spring Mill and it’s beautiful turquoise water. The deep blue waters of Blue Spring is Missouri’s deepest spring, at over 300 feet deep. Rocky Falls is an impressive, steep cascading waterfall that pours into a large pool of water.
Eminence is a hot spot for tourism. The Jacks Fork River runs through the middle of town and borders the back side of our campground providing swimming, floating, tubing and fishing. There are many opportunities for sight-seeing in the area. A 9-hole golf course is located just outside of the Cross Country Trail Ride gate. The area’s largest western store is available at CCTR, as well as, a tack store, restaurant and trailer sales. Eminence offers several shops with local crafts also.
Eminence is located approximately 175 miles south of St. Louis, 130 miles southeast of Springfield, 300 miles southeast of Kansas City, and 160 miles west of Cape Girardeau. Cross Country Trail Ride facility is located 1 mile north of Eminence off Highway 19. It is set on the banks of the Jack’s Fork River and we have several swimming areas available.

We recommend the following motels which are located about 1/2 mile from our campground in Eminence. Please call at least 4 months in advance as there is limited space available and they tend to fill up quickly during our busy season! All of these motels are nice, clean and the staff is very friendly.

How to Get Here
From St. Louis: Take I-44 West to Rolla exit; take Hwy. 63 South to Houston; turn South on Hwy. 17 to Summersville; turn east on Hwy. 106 to Hwy. D; turn left onto Hwy. D to Hwy. 19; turn South on Hwy. 19 to Eminence. You will come down a small hill as you come into town turn left before you cross the bridge. Our entrance is 1/2 mile East off Hwy. 19. We are approximately 175 miles from St. Louis or about 4 hours.
From Cape Girardeau: Take I-55 South to Hwy. 60; take Hwy. 60 West to Winona; turn North (right) on Hwy. 19 to Eminence. Come all the way through town going North on Hwy. 19, cross the bridge, and turn right on the first road after the bridge. Our entrance is 1/2 mile East off Hwy. 19. We are approximately 130 miles from Cape Girardeau or about 3 hours.
From Kansas City: Take I-70 East to Hwy. 13 exit; take Hwy. 13 South to Springfield; take I-44 east to Hwy. 65 exit; take Hwy. 65 South to Hwy. 60 exit; take Hwy. 60 East to Winona; turn North (left) on Hwy. 19; take Hwy. 19 North to Eminence. Come all the way town going North on Hwy. 19, cross the bridge and turn right on the first road after the bridge. Our entrance is 1/2 mile East off Hwy. 19. We are approximately 300 miles from Kansas City or about 6 hours.
From Springfield: Take Hwy. 60 East to Winona; turn North (left) on Hwy. 19 to Eminence. Come all the way through town going North on Hwy. 19, cross the bridge and turn right on the first road after the bridge. Our entrance is 1/2 mile East off Hwy. 19. We are approximately 120 miles from Springfield or about 2.5 hours.
